Tehran, IRNA – Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmaeil Baqaei has dismissed the US narrative about its attacks on Iranian oil tankers in the Persian Gulf, saying Iran is acting in self-defense in the face of a maritime blockade and economic war imposed by Washington.
